Sanjay Shukla, M.D., M.S.
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Shukla was named CEO in 2009 and has more than a decade of functionally versatile drug development experience. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance at Vifor Pharma. Prior to Vifor's acquisition of Aspreva Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Shukla served in a variety of leadership positions at Aspreva, including Drug Development Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics, and Clinical Sciences. In addition, he spent time as Director of Investor and Media Relations at Aspreva. Dr. Shukla received his medical degree from the Howard University College of Medicine, Washington DC. He also holds a master's degree in Epidemiology from the University of Maryland at Baltimore, with an emphasis in Medical Informatics.

Vis Niranjan, M.D.
President and Founder
Dr. Niranjan founded RxMD in 2000. He has established a track record of drug development execution spanning over 12 years. He has provided executive management consulting on various clinical programs in many therapeutic areas. These include successful filings of NDA's for influenza, hepatitis B & C, HIV, and erectile dysfunction. Dr. Niranjan received his medical degree from the University of Bombay, India, and completed a fellowship at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. He is board certified in Pediatrics and Critical Care. He also received postdoctoral training in molecular biology from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
Sage Baker, M.B.A.
Sage Baker is Managing Director and General Manager, West Coast for Financial Dynamics. At FD, Sage works extensively with executive management from small to large cap corporations across all sectors focusing on evolving business strategies and integrated strategic communications. Prior to FD, Sage was with Aspreva Pharmaceuticals where, as a member of the executive team in the role of Vice President of Global Corporate & Investor Relations, she was responsible for strategic planning, corporate communications, investor and public relations, and internal communications. Sage holds a M.B.A in international business from Queen's University.
Noël Brown, M.B.A.
Noël is a Managing Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Rodman & Renshaw and joined the firm in May 2009. Noël focuses on corporate finance and strategic advisory for U.S. life sciences companies. Prior to joining Rodman & Renshaw, Noël was a Senior Vice President at Barclays Capital which acquired Lehman Brothers where Noël was a senior coverage officer for U.S. Life Sciences. Noël received his B.A. in Biology and Philosophy at the University of Western Ontario, his LL.B. from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, and his M.B.A. in Finance from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Sanuj Ravindran, M.D., M.B.A.
Dr. Ravindran is the Managing Director of Asian Healthcare Fund, a Private Equity fund that invests in growth-stage healthcare companies, primarily in India and Southeast Asia. Previously, Dr. Ravindran was a Principal of Radius Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on leading-edge health and life sciences companies; and prior to Radius, he was a Director of Burrill & Company’s VC group, where he also founded and led the Burrill India Group. Dr. Ravindran’s prior board roles include Ambit Biosciences, Athersys Inc., Resolvyx Pharmaceuticals, Endocyte, Inc., Proventys Inc., and diaDexus Inc. Dr. Ravindran, who is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, received his M.D. from Jefferson Medical College and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management.
