Dr. Abhijeeth Chandrasekaran, Clinical Scientist at RxMD, has been invited to be a session panelist at the Bangalore INDIA BIO 2012, widely regarded as India's flagship biotech event. The conference -  being organized by the  Government of the  State of Karnataka from February 6 to 8 in Bangalore, India -  aims to provide attendees insights into the latest trends and business opportunities in the biotechnology sector and will feature delegates and speakers from 23 countries.

Dr. Chandrasekaran will give a talk on Clinical Development Accelerators – Virtual Drug Development at the session, Clinical and Contract Research – Building Capabilities through Strategic Partnerships, focussing on innovative drug development business models that have emerged in the wake of the downturn in the international biotech sector - which has meant too many therapeutic assets but too few funding avenues. Dr. Chandrasekaran will delineate the new virtual companies that have arisen as a consequence, offering clinical development companies opportunities to explore risk sharing partnerships with biotech companies.
